After a long and exhausting Winter I’m happy and excited to say HELLO to Spring 🙂 Days are becoming longer and the sun is more eager to peek through the clouds. The nature is waking up and leaf and flower buds are about to flourish.
The recipe I want to share with you today is for the best lemonade I’ve ever tried. And I know I will never buy lemonade again, nothing will beat a home-made one 🙂
1.6 litre water
6 lemons (unwaxed)
5 TBSP honey
handful of fresh mint
1. Heat 200ml water with honey in a small saucepan until the honey is dissolved completely.
2.In the meantime extract lemon juice from 4 lemons.
3. Add the juice and the honey water to a pitcher. Add the rest of cold water, fresh mint and 2 chopped lemons.Mix. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes.Serve with ice.
